Model 930
Ignition Module
 The
930’s original equipment ignition box with the eight-pin
connector is very hard to find in the US. This is because the
1976 and 1977 Porsche 930 turbo was not officially permitted to
enter the US due to failure to meet the new California Air
Resources Board (CARB) fuel economy and emissions standards
required for certification. The Perma-Tune model 930 is a bolt
up and plug in replacement ignition box that improves engine
performance and reduces hydrocarbon emissions. It can be used on
any engine that uses the Bosch 0 227 300 008, 0 227 300 007 or 0
227 300 004 ignition module.
Model 930021 Repair Harness
 This repair harness is
like the 930020 harness except that it allows for the relocation
of the ignition coil. The coil is moved to the frame rail just
below the ignition box. If your alternator has been replaced
with a new style alternator that has a built-in voltage
regulator, the old voltage regulator can be removed from the
relay panel and the coil can be mounted in its place directly
next to the ignition box.

 This spark plug wire set
is designed for the Porsche 930 Turbos.
Perma-Tune 10.5 mm diameter wire sets are constructed of three
layers of fiberglass-reinforced silicone, with a core of 36
strands of reliable, pure copper wire, and spark plug connectors
with no failure-prone resistors. They are provided with
stainless steel hardware and are impervious to heat and oil.

particular engine. They are easy to install.
